By the people for the people, investigating a neighborhood in Liège (Belgium), and realizing there was no more cultural space in the area despite 11’000 students & 5’000 inhabitants.
I decided to create a new public cultural space in the neighborhood, within the botanical garden of Liège. A huge bench creating an amphitheater space at it’s bottom and continuing trough the parc, rethinking the furniture to be part of the garden, and making the place wellcoming also when no events.
Event are schedule to occur each month in the garden, from classic music concerts to movie projections.

Each plank of the bench is to be sold & engraved with the name given by the buyer, making the structure grow & evolve. Some planks are engraved with facts about the plants present in the botanical garden.

De la population pour la population, en observant un quartier de Liège (Belgique), et en réalisant qu’il n’y avait plus aucun espace culturel dans le voisinage malgré 11’000 étudiants & 5’000 habitants.
J’ai travaillé sur un nouvel espace culturel s’intégrant dans le jardin botanique de Liège. Un énorme banc créant un amphithéâtre à sa base et continuant à évoluer au travers du parc, penser le mobilier comme étant partie intégrante du Jardin botanique le rendant également accueillant en dehors des événements.
Différentes activités on lieu chaque mois dans le jardin botanique, de concerto de musique classique à des projections de films.

Chaque planche du banc est vendue et gravée avec le nom donné par la personne qui l’achète, ceci permettant à la structure de grandir et évoluer. Certaines planches sont gravées avec des faits sur différentes plantes présentes dans le jardin botanique.

480 is a one legged night table that keeps our secrets while we are sleeping.
It’s made with a bended wood profile.

A duffle bag made out of leather that is foldable and expendable. A special modeling technique has been developed with a craftsman for the project.

Une chaise a bascule avec un berceau attaché, pour se relaxer tout en gardant un œil sur son enfant. Le berceau peut être détaché pour créer une chaise à bascule.

This is a stool project made with wood. The construction has been thought to be produced by handicapped persons. This stool has two sitting positions one that is flat and another one inclined which is better for our back. This stool is completely foldable.

Il s’agit d’un projet de tabouret dessiné pour pouvoir être produit par des personnes handicapées. Il y a deux positions d’assises, une parfaitement plate, ainsi qu’une position d’assise inclinéedonnant un meilleur confort a l’utilisateur. Cette chaise est complètement pliable.
